Game Information

Bianca's Lab is a short series of educational minigames based around different bioengineering concepts, meant to encourage scientific interest in very young children (ages 5 and up). Bioengineer Bianca and her robot assistant GENE guide the player as they put those concepts into action, all through drag-and-drop gameplay.

Bonus fonts “Bianca Sans” & “Bianca Serif” included with download. Free to use for personal or commercial use.

Install instructions

Information
This game was developed for Windows 10 & 11, but also works on macOS Big Sur and above. More information on the machines this game has been verified compatible with can be found below, as well as installation instructions. This game will not receive any updates after August 2023. Bugs may still be present.

Windows
Upon downloading the file,  please unzip the file and run the Bianca's Lab executable found within the unzipped folder. 

macOS
Upon downloading the file, please unzip the file and right click the Bianca's Lab app, then, select "Open". When prompted if you would like to open the file again, click "Open".  Then, Drag the app file into your Applications folder for easy access. Compatible with both Intel and Apple Silicon macOS devices.

Testing
This game is intended to be played on machines running Windows 10 or later, it has been tested and works on computers running Windows 10 and Windows 11. The latest build that has been tested is Windows 11 (22H2) running on the Home Insider Preview channel.

This game also runs on macOS, both on Intel and Apple Silicon based devices. It has been tested and works on Macs and MacBooks running macOS Big Sur, macOS Monterey, macOS Ventura, and macOS Sonoma. The latest build that has been tested is macOS Sonoma 14.0 beta 5 running on the Developer Beta channel.
